A 2‑day international hackathon hosted by Hun‑REN HQ to develop AI solutions that shape the future of scientific discovery.

Hun-REN is hosting an international hackathon titled Disrupt Science by Agentic Discovery. Over two days, we will build agentic AI solutions to accelerate scientific discovery.
Participants will receive full access to the AI Scientist platform, jointly developed by Hun-REN and Óbuda University, which integrates multiple AI tools to support research prototyping.

Teams will create AI prototypes that can be applied in real research workflows.
The jury will evaluate scientific relevance, creativity in AI tool use, novelty and applicability, and the quality of teamwork.
Each team will deliver a 5-minute final presentation at the end of Day 2.
Only open or synthetic data may be used, under a strict “no secrets” security policy.
